On this research note I will discuss the value that French furniture produced and signed in the second half of the nineteenth century reaches at the XXI century art market. This study was based on the existence of a vitrine with the stamp “M(ais)on Krieger Ameublement Paris” which in February 2015 was sold at Lisbon auction house Veritas for 70.000.00€ after a dispute that began in 9.400.00€.
