The Casa-Museu Medeiros e Almeida exhibits an eclectic collection of furniture, where it is possible to contemplate pieces of Portuguese, French, English and Dutch production from a chronology extending the XVI century to the early XX century.
This research note concerns to a piece of furniture produced in the second half of the XIX century, but following the model realized by the French cabinet-maker of the XVIII century, Jean-Henri Riesener (1734-1806).
