Os restauradores da coleção de pintura da Academia Real de Belas-Artes de Lisboa proveniente dos conventos extintos

Abstract

From the establishment of the Academy of Fine Arts, there was a concern about the conservation and restoration of paintings coming from the Deposit of the Libraries of Extinct Convents, in order to create a great national museum. These works were performed by different people with diverse backgrounds and training, and followed guidelines that evolved over the nineteenth century.
