The present study describes the musical life of the monastery of Santo André de Rendufe in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, and identifies its musical heritage. The musicological knowledge aims to contribute to the identification and characterization of the benedictine monastery as a place of culture and spirituality, proposing a reflection on possible management solutions that respect its historical and sacred dimension. Final considerations present proposals for the future of appreciation and enjoyment of this extraordinary artistic heritage.
