The Patrimonius collection, property of the Municipality of Covilhã and exhibited at the local Museum of Arts and Culture, is known as the Covilhã historical-cultural heritage; however, a reference in one of the paintings has revealed a considerable spoil out of the regional female conventual context. Based on documental funds related to religious orders and of the Municipality and centering the object of study on five paintings, we will try to find out which course the pictorial objects had taken since their confiscation until the current museological context.
