The Portuguese-Brazilian artist Artur Barrio presented “Situação T/T1”, an artwork in which he used his famous “trouxas ensanguentadas” (bloody bundles) at the public art exhibition “Do Corpo à Terra”, in April 1970. In this article, we will discuss the issues raised by this proposal and its relationship with guerrilla art. For this purpose, we will use Frederico Morais’ texts on this subject as theoretical reference.
