Santa Teresa de Jesus. Projecto de exposição multimédia para a divulgação da (re)descoberta azulejar de temática teresiana no espólio do Museu Nacional do Azulejo

Abstract

In the context of the celebrations of the 5th Centenary of the Birth of St. Teresa of Jesus (1515-2015), the purpose of this communication focuses on the design of a project for a temporary exhibition, with the use of audiovisual media and multimedia, in order to renew the study of the representations of St. Teresa of Jesus, with emphasis on the tile lining, making them known to all scholars and the general public. If implemented, the exhibition will take place at the Museu Nacional do Azulejo (National Tile Museum), keeper of the great majority of existing decontextualized tile heritage, as is the case of the panels (re) discovered and dedicated to St. Teresa, which are the core of the aforesaid project.
