Giving the contemporary hybridization and omnipresence of technical images, this text is based on the exhibitions Meio Concreto (2013) by Alexandre Estrela, and Lua Cão (2017) by Alexandre Estrela and the duo João Maria Gusmão and Pedro Paiva, proposing to examine subjects as the internal, potential and heuristic forces of videographic devices; the profanation of technological automatisms and the aesthetics of technical errors; the intermediary relations that exist at the confluence of video and film; and the affinities and dissimilarities that this confrontation generates in the conception of a medial porosity and interstitially.
